For some visitors, reaching a farm with unpaved roads, cooking over firewood, and limited access to modern facilities feels like stepping into a remote village in Nepal. This very “Nepali lifestyle” experience is being offered free of charge to support Nepalis struggling with mental health issues, says Pralad Ghimire, the operator of a farm located about 20 kilometres west of Goulburn. Homelessness NSW has backed urgent calls for a coronial inquest into the death of Bikram Lama. Lama, who came to Australia from Nepal, was reportedly found near St James Station in Hyde Park in Sydney last December, where he had been rough sleeping.
