Donald Trump said he has given a "shoot and kill" order for any boat putting mines in the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has essentially closed and the US has blockaded. However, Trump posted on Truth social overnight that the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon will be extended by three weeks. Members of the Dáil Public Accounts Committee have expressed concern over the delivery of a €270 million contactless transport ticketing system by IT Contractor Indra.
