I remember early on, while walking past an entrance of a grand hotel, being intrigued by the doorman with his majestic outfit, waiting to assist arriving guests— by the grandeur of it all. The luxury limousines, the drivers in black suits and black ties, and the entry of the hotel were so intimidating yet so fascinating. Who was staying there tonight? Who was checking in?
